THE STUDIO
Vetted wasn’t built overnight.
It grew out of years of conversation—about design, culture, objects, and the way certain things hold meaning beyond their function. Watches became the common language. What started as sourcing pieces for ourselves slowly evolved into something more intentional.
We saw an opportunity to build the kind of watch studio we wished existed: thoughtful, transparent, and detail-obsessed.
Toronto is home. The studio is the work.
What We’re Building
A modern watch studio—built around trust.
Not a marketplace. Not a content farm. Not a dealer site dressed up as a brand.
Vetted is designed for collectors who care about the details: condition disclosed clearly, information presented intuitively, and every touchpoint treated with the same respect as the watch itself.
The aim is simple: make collecting feel safer, clearer, and more enjoyable—online and in person.
THE STANDARDS
Truth over theatre
If the condition isn’t clean, the language won’t be either.
Details matter
Small things compound—photos, notes, packaging, service, follow-through.
Collector-first decisions
We build the experience we’d want if we were the customer.
Conversation beats conversion
The best purchases start with questions, not pressure.
Relationships over transactions
Reputation lives in group chats, not review platforms.
No shortcuts
We don’t outsource the important parts, because they’re the point.
The Team
Vetted is led by partners Nate and Drew—sales and marketing, respectively. Yasir is our in-house watchmaker. Nadia leads customer experience. Usama and Muzammil power the infrastructure behind the scenes.
We’re a tight team collaborating across sourcing, storytelling, service, and shipping. When you deal with Vetted, you deal with Vetted.
Our ethos is simple: sweat every detail.
FRIENDS
We believe you are the company you keep.
What matters most are the collectors we’ve met, the conversations that continue long after a deal is done, and the quiet trust that shows up when someone sends a friend our way.
You don’t need to take our word for it. That’s the real vetting process.
The Focus
Not enough people talk about the friction in collecting—especially in the secondary market.
Is it authentic? Does the condition match the photos? Will it run properly? Will duties show up at the door?
The questions are always the same. The answers should be clear.
At Vetted, every watch is authenticated, inspected, and backed by an industry-leading 3-year warranty. Orders ship fully insured the next business day.
Each piece includes a detailed condition report with photographs of the watch and movement, documented service history (when available), a timegrapher report, and a pressure test readout.
Stay connected through Journals —a monthly record of what shaped our month: watches, culture, objects, and the work behind the scenes.
